Bampton Vocal Studio

Alongside his performance career, Alex is the founder of Bampton Vocal Studio, where he coaches singers from advanced to career professionals, and those working to find or re-establish their voice. His work also includes voice rehabilitation, supporting singers returning from periods of vocal difficulty or technical imbalance. His approach is informed by the principles of Frederick Husler and Yvonne Rodd-Marling, focusing on functional vocal coordination, balanced resonance, and efficient, sustainable phonation.Rather than applying a fixed tonal ideal, he works from the individual mechanics of each voice to establish technical stability and flexibility. His teaching prioritises clear function, expressive control, and long-term vocal reliability, with an emphasis on preparing voices for professional demands.Lessons are offered both in-person and online through individual 60-minute sessions.
Fee: £60 per 60-minute session

"Had a consultation and he was super honest about where he could help me and what was possible. He's very skilled and has a more technical and scientific approach to singing which I prefer. I will book more lessons !"

"I have had several lessons with Alex now. He has listened to my voice figured out what needs work and helped coach me with different exercises to strengthen and develop. He has been very good at specifically tailoring the sessions to what I need to work on. He creates a open friendly environment to work in. I would 100% recommend"
